Recorded over the summer of 2004, “Wearing the Burn” was one of the most fruitful and rewarding projects I’ve ever been blessed to be a part of. Recorded in three months, with just two musicians and no money, the group known as Piece, would go on to become Seven. These songs were recorded in my Mother’s apartment in Baltimore. Using only Reason, an 8-track, a couple guitars, one bass, and a terrible microphone, Justin Resnick and I came up with something we were both very proud of. These recordings are ruff and limited, but remain a window into a wonderfully creative partnership.
